1. Who we are

The Site is operated by New BringooTech, a software and digital agency founded in 2002, with offices in Faisalabad and Lahore (Pakistan), Dubai (UAE) and Oman. For any privacy question you can reach us using the details at the end of this policy.

2. Information we collect

a) Information collected automatically

• Usage data through Google Analytics 4: pages viewed, time on page, referring site, device and browser type, approximate location (city/country) and an anonymous identifier stored in a cookie.
• Technical logs kept by our hosting and content-delivery providers: IP address, date and time of request and the page requested, used for security and reliability.

b) Information stored only on your device

• Your selected country, theme (light/dark), chart history, price-alert targets and notification preferences are saved in your browser's localStorage. This data never leaves your device and we cannot see it.

c) Information you choose to send us

• When you use our contact form, your message opens in WhatsApp or your email app and is sent by you directly. We receive your name, phone number, email and message only when you send it. Nothing is stored on the Site itself.

d) User accounts (when launched)

• If you create an account, we will collect your name, email address, optional phone number and a password. Passwords are stored only in hashed form; we never see or store them in plain text. Account data will be used solely to provide account features such as saved alerts and preferences.

3. How we use information

• To provide, operate and improve the Site and its live rates, charts, calculators and alerts.
• To understand which content is useful and fix problems (analytics).
• To respond to your enquiries about our services.
• To keep the Site secure and prevent abuse.
• To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for automated decisions that have legal effects on you.

4. Cookies and local storage

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on. The Site works without cookies.

5. Third-party services

To deliver live data and features, your browser connects directly to these providers, which may receive your IP address under their own privacy policies:

• Google Analytics (Google LLC) — usage statistics. How Google uses data.
• gold-api.com — live gold, silver and platinum spot prices.
• Google Fonts and jsDelivr — fonts and a small animation library.
• Google Maps — the map on our Contact page loads only when you view that page.
• WhatsApp (Meta) and your email provider — when you choose to message us.

News headlines link to their original publishers; their websites have their own privacy policies.

6. Browser notifications

Price alerts use your browser's notification permission. Notifications are generated on your own device; we do not run a push server and cannot send you notifications when the Site is closed. You can revoke permission at any time in your browser's site settings.

7. Data retention

• Google Analytics data is retained for 14 months, then automatically deleted.
• Messages you send us by email or WhatsApp are kept as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any resulting business relationship.
• Account data (when launched) is kept while your account is active and deleted within 30 days of a deletion request, except where law requires longer retention.

8. Sharing and disclosure

We share information only with service providers that help us run the Site (listed above), when required by law or to protect our rights and users' safety, or as part of a merger or acquisition with notice to you. We never sell or rent personal data.

9. Security

The Site is served over HTTPS. We use reputable providers, limit access to data to people who need it, and will store account passwords only as salted hashes. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.

10. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, to object to or restrict processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. Residents of the EU/UK have these rights under the GDPR, and residents of California under the CCPA. To exercise any right, email info@newbringootech.com; we respond within 30 days. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

11. International transfers

Our providers may process data in countries other than your own, including the United States. Where required, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

12. Children's privacy

The Site is not directed at children under 13 (or 16 in the EU), and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the Site evolves (for example when user accounts launch). The “Last updated” date above shows the latest version; significant changes will be highlighted on the Site.
